The Teacher Education Observatory (TEO) was established in 2010 by the Teacher Education Group, TEG, a group of teacher education academics from across the UK.
The purpose of the Observatory is to provide an accessible network and node which can monitor developments across the full range of teacher education, especially in the four jurisdictions of the UK.
This will be a means of communicating significant policy developments, the opportunities that are arising from them and their possible impacts on existing provision.
The TEO will incorporate links to existing resources such as the TEG bibliography and the Learning to Teach Website, but will also provide sites for ongoing discussions and reviews of contemporary developments.
